Complaints Choir of Ljubljana joint a serial of Complaints Choirs worldwide. The project was concieved and initiated by Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen and Tellervo Kalleinen. Since 2005 when they realized first choir in Birmingham, more than 20 Complaints Choirs were organized and the number is still growing. The idea of the project is simple but effective – people who want to share their complaints and to transform them into something positive and creative are invited to participate. Out of their complaints lyric is shaped collaboratively and put into music by invited musician. After few rehearsals, the Complaints Choir performs song in a choosen location and occasion.

In Ljubljana between 20 and 30 people joined the project. The lyric talks mostly about daily problems with which we are confronted in our daily life – as partners, parents, neighbours, citizents, etc. It complaints about the hollow chocolate bunnies, opinion polls, lack of time, egomaniacs driving big 4×4s, high appartment prices, Slovene TV serials, …

The song was composed and conducted by Tomaž Grom, accompanied by Marjan Stanič.

Performances took place on 24th of April and 26th of August 2008 in different public places in Ljubljana city center.
